Pumpkin Obsession

There is no doubt I've talked a time or two about how much I love fall...

and anything PUMPKIN flavored! 

After being away at the beach this past week (update + pics to come soon), our house was in desperate need of a reload in the food department. 

So while stocking up, I couldn't help but pass up a few of my favorite fall treats!!

Pool Essentials

Apparently we are having a heat wave this week, so naturally it has me thinking about lounging poolside (or really anywhere tropical)!

I broke down and bought this necklace! I've been coveting the J.Crew version for a while, but not the price. I started searching Etsy and low and behold found this beauty. I even caught the shop while having a sale, so couldn't pass it up for $33 and free shipping!! I absolutely love how neutral of a color it is. 

I forsee myself wearing this A LOT this summer!

I made a batch of this yesterday morning and it was delicious! I liked the blueberries in it, but did not love. I think next time I may try with fresh strawberries, or I bet it would even be tasty with bananas.

But it kept me full all morning which is a bonus in my books!

:: 50 Shades ::

Is anyone out there obsessed with this series as much as I am?! I mean, I'm not such a fan of it's raunchiness, but boy Christian Grey is rather intriguing and keeps you wanting to read. I'm also not much of a reader, but this book has kept me up way past my bedtime and I'm hooked! I'm currently in the middle of "Darker", and I can't wait to see how this trilogy ends.

Last week J.Crew was having an additional 30% off their Spring sale, and I might have scooped up a couple pairs of these shorts. They are my favorite! I already have the mint ones, so I decided to go with the lemon zest + modern red (more orangy in person). I'm still not sure if I'll keep both, but they will be a welcome addition on those hot summer days ahead!

:: Well-Kept Wipes ::

While in the mountains this past weekend I was introduced to these amazing "well-kept" wipes! My sis gave my step-mom a pack of them, and for some reason I was needing a wipe for my computer, and she handed me one. Um, l.o.v.e! My computer screen is beyond filth thanks to my little 20 month old and her curious fingers, but these towelettes worked there magic and I will be ordering some stat!

I mean, they aren't the cheapest, but they work!!

Cheers to it almost being the weekend again!
