Here's a little recap of where the hubs and I spent our time last weekend. 

We visited the quaint little town of Chesapeake City in Maryland.

Some friends entered the wonderful world of marriage and we were there to be a part of their big day. 

And what a big 'ol time it was.

Pillows

Here I am again. 

On the hunt for more pillows.

This is like a never ending battle for me. Why you ask, because the options are endless!! 

While I am super happy with what we have in our living room, I still feel like it's lacking something.

So my answer. Why not add a couple more pillows to the mix.

I mean, you can never have too many, right?

 (except now the ikat pillows are sitting on our two club chairs, so it's just the monogrammed ones...hence the needing more color)

If you can't tell, things have been pretty low-key. 

Although baby girl sure has gotten to see a lot of her favorite friends recently, which is always fun!

Well I am going to go ahead and sign off for the week. 

My mama (Lillian's Gummy) is coming into town later today. We haven't seen her in 5 whole months, so there is lots of quality time to be spent together. Oh, and she's going to stay with baby girl while the hubs and I jaunt off to Maryland+Delaware for our last wedding. 

We're pretty pumped for it and plan on ending our wedding season with a bang!!

Mama's Spring Must-Have's

So much for getting this post out last Friday.

I'm not sure what happened, but none the less, here we are!

This "lack" of winter we had this past year has me extrememly excited with this new season. 

My allergies did not love it in the least bit, however my pasty legs (or rather entire body) is thankful for the warmer weather upon us.

There are so many delightfully colorful pieces all over some of my favorite go-to shopping sites, that I might have gone on a mini shopping spree recently.

(hubs do not fret- it was all with fun birthday cash!)

Now that Spring is here (aside from this cold front we've had this week- grrr!) both baby girl and I have got our closets ready to go!

It's the small things

We aren't moving. 

We aren't renovating.

BUT, if we did by chance decide to stay where we are and expand our little abode, these are just a few ideas burning a hole in my decorating head.

i mean, half of these ideas are GENIUS!!

Let me mention that I will actually be really sad if we do in fact decide to move, lots of fun memories lie here.

But until then, we'll enjoy our pretty new roof we had put on last month and the new windows we had installed last week.

Definitely not the "fun" things a homeowner wants to do, however necessities.

I'm not going to lie though, I'm pretty stoked about the new windows. They are SO clean and I can actually open them without having to bang on them with all my might.

We've got one last project to complete on the house that we're both pumped about, but we'll save that for another post.
