Better late than never!
It's so hard to believe that another year has come and gone. 2010 was a year of learning and experiencing in regards to a lot of different things, but it also brought me the most special gift of all...our daughter! I always say at the start of the year, I am going to make a list of some goals I would like to "try" and achieve, but well that usually never pans out. So I thought I might give it a shot for real this time, along with printing it out and posting it where I can see it and be reminded. In no particular order here are a few things I would like to improve on...
1) Blog more consistently. If only you could see my Dashboard, I have about a million posts that are in the editing stage, that I have yet to complete. So many different ideas, however I can't seem to stay focused enough to finish them.
2) Learn to use Photoshop more effectively. Photography is still on my to-do lists, but until I learn to use Photoshop and all the tools it has to offer, I can't quite fully get there. It's a hobby that I love, so there is no excuse as to why this can't be done...this year!
3) Shed my remaining pregnancy weight! I absolutely love to run and did it all the time before getting pregnant last December. It was a personal decision of mine to give it up during the pregnancy, but now there is no excuse. We joined a new gym that has a great nursery, so again, there is no excuse why I can't get back in shape!
4) To run at least one half-marathon, if not two, in preparation for the full one I will be running in 2012! I have always said that by the time I'm 30 (or for my 30th birthday) I wanted to do this. So many great race options as I've already been scouting each out.
5) Set home business hours. With having two jobs that basically operate out of my home, it's a little tricky when finding time to get everything done that needs taken care of. Obviously I have yet to master this since my first priority is my little love bug, but I do need to become better at it.
and last but not least...
5) To be a better wife and mother.
Here is to looking ahead at a great 2011
Cheers!
